Being a Portal of Gods Glory

INSIDE THIS REVELATION:

What if you were created not just to experience God’s glory, but to be a portal through which His glory flows into the world around you?

The New Man is predominantly spiritual, just as Adam was before the Fall. Before sin entered, Adam wasn’t primarily conscious of the physical realm — he was fully alive to the spiritual. That’s why he could see and hear God walking in the garden. His spiritual senses were more dominant than his natural ones.

In Christ, you are restored to this original design. You are a spiritual being housing the glory of God — and designed to release that glory wherever you go.

What Is God’s Glory — and Why Does It Flow Through You?

The Hebrew word for glory (kavod) literally means weight or substance. The glory of God is His manifest presence — the tangible, experiential reality of who He is breaking through into the visible realm. When the glory of God comes, things change: the sick are healed, the bound are freed, the atmosphere shifts.

You are not just a passive recipient of God’s glory — you are a vessel designed to carry and release it. “We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us” (2 Corinthians 4:7). The treasure is the glory of God. The earthen vessel is you. The design is overflow.

How Did Adam Experience Spiritual Perception — and How Is That Restored in Christ?

Before the Fall, Adam walked in unhindered communion with God. His spiritual senses — his ability to perceive God’s voice, presence, and guidance — were fully operational and dominant. The Fall didn’t erase these faculties; it buried them under the noise of the flesh and the natural mind.

In Christ, your spiritual senses are restored and even enhanced. You have been given the Spirit who searches the deep things of God. Your inner man can perceive what your outer man cannot see. As you walk in conscious union with the Spirit, your spiritual perception sharpens — and you begin to live more from the spiritual realm than the physical.

What Does It Mean to Be a “Portal” of God’s Glory?

A portal is an entry point — a doorway between one realm and another. As a son of God, you are designed to be a doorway between heaven and earth: wherever you go, heaven’s reality can break through.

This is what happened through Jesus — wherever He went, the kingdom came. The lame walked, the blind saw, the dead were raised. He was a portal of the Father’s glory and power. And He said, “As the Father has sent Me, I also send you” (John 20:21). The same commission. The same anointing. The same access.

How Does Spiritual Consciousness Activate God’s Glory Through You?

The degree to which God’s glory flows through you is directly connected to your degree of spiritual consciousness. When you are more aware of the Spirit within you than the circumstances around you, the Spirit has freedom to manifest.

This is why Paul says, “Walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16). Walking in the Spirit is not just avoiding sin — it is being spiritually conscious enough that the Spirit’s reality dominates your experience. As that consciousness deepens, the glory flows more freely.

How Do You Increase Your Spiritual Consciousness and Become a Clearer Portal of Glory?

Becoming a clearer portal is about reducing the interference — the noise of the flesh, the dominance of the natural mind — so the Spirit can flow through you without obstruction.

    • Prioritise time in the Spirit — prayer, worship, and meditation that are Spirit-led rather than formulaic.
    • Practice spiritual awareness in mundane moments: ask the Spirit to open your eyes to what He is doing in ordinary situations.
    • Expect the supernatural to be natural — healing, wisdom, provision, and breakthrough are the fruit of glory flowing through a yielded vessel.
    • Let go of controlling outcomes — a portal doesn’t manage the glory, it simply allows it to pass through.
