INSIDE THIS REVELATION:

What does it mean to be joined to the Lord as one Spirit — and how does that oneness become the operating reality of your everyday life?

“He that is joined to the Lord is one Spirit.” — 1 Corinthians 6:17

The New Man is in absolute oneness with the Father, through Jesus — it’s inherent. We have the mind of Christ through this oneness. We think and experience the Father through it. By the Spirit within, we walk in the will of the Father and our purposes on earth are accomplished.

This is not an aspiration. It is your present spiritual reality as a son of God.

What Does It Mean to Be “One Spirit” with the Lord?

When two people are married, they become one flesh. But when you are joined to the Lord, you become one spirit — a union far more profound than physical. Your spirit has been permanently united with His Spirit. You are spiritually inseparable from the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

This is not positional theology only — it is ontological reality. It means your inner man is constituted by His Spirit. His nature has become your nature. His mind has become your mind. You don’t have to achieve union with God — you already have it. The journey is learning to live from it.

How Does Having the Mind of Christ Actually Function in Daily Life?

“We have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16). This doesn’t mean you automatically think perfect thoughts — it means the Spirit of Christ within you is your source of spiritual understanding. When you yield to the Spirit, you gain access to divine perspective on any situation.

In practice, having the mind of Christ means your thinking is increasingly shaped by eternal values rather than temporal pressures. You begin to see people as the Father sees them. You perceive circumstances through the lens of His purposes. Decisions that would baffle natural wisdom become clear when you think from the Spirit.

What Is the Relationship Between Oneness with God and Walking in His Will?

When you are truly conscious of your oneness with the Father, walking in His will becomes natural rather than effortful. You’re not trying to figure out what God wants and then align yourself with it — you are already one with the One who is the will of God.

Jesus said, “I always do the things that are pleasing to Him” (John 8:29). This was not the fruit of superhuman willpower — it was the fruit of unbroken conscious union with the Father. As you deepen your consciousness of that same union, your life naturally moves in alignment with the Father’s purposes.

What Blocks Our Experience of Oneness with the Father — and How Do We Remove It?

The union itself is never broken — you are permanently one Spirit with the Lord. What gets blocked is your consciousness of that union. The primary blockages are: unrenewed thinking (believing you are separated), condemnation (feeling unworthy of access), and distraction (living from the outer world rather than the inner Spirit).

These blockages dissolve through truth. When you know — really know — that you are one with the Father regardless of your performance, condemnation loses its grip. When you learn to turn your attention inward to the Spirit rather than outward to circumstances, the experience of oneness becomes your continuous reality.

How Do You Cultivate a Continuous Consciousness of Oneness with the Father?

Oneness consciousness is built through deliberate practice of spiritual attention. Like tuning a radio to a frequency, you learn to tune your awareness to the Spirit who is always present within you.

    • Throughout the day, take brief moments to acknowledge: “I am one spirit with the Lord right now.”
    • Let the Spirit’s inner witness — peace, knowing, gentle nudges — become the compass for your decisions.
    • Replace separation thinking (“I need God to come to me”) with union thinking (“He is already in me and I am in Him”).
    • Let worship be an expression of oneness already enjoyed — not a reaching for a connection you haven’t yet found.
