Raised to Life

Eternal Perspectives

INSIDE THIS REVELATION:

Why did Jesus come — and what does it mean that God raised you to life with Him, not just for a future heaven, but for a present, overflowing union with the Father right now?

The purpose of Jesus coming into this world was to restore you back to the Father. The Father is life, and He gave Jesus to have life in Himself. Your communion and oneness with Him is life. When you were separated from God by a nature that was not His, you were dead. There was no life in you.

But resurrection wasn’t just about restoring what was lost — it was about elevating you into a higher union with the Father than even Adam knew before the Fall.

What Did Jesus Restore When He Raised You to Life with Him?

Adam’s original life was one of innocence and union with God — but it was not yet proven or glorified. Jesus came not just to restore Adam’s state, but to bring you into the fullness of what the Father intended for humanity from the beginning: sons who share His nature, authority, and glory.

“Even when we were dead in our trespasses, God made us alive together with Christ — by grace you have been saved — and raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:5-6). Raised to life — and then seated in heavenly places. Not a restoration to the garden, but an elevation to the throne.

What Does Being “Seated in Heavenly Places” Mean for Your Practical Life?

Being seated in heavenly places is your spiritual position — not a location you aspire to, but a reality you currently occupy. You are not on earth reaching toward heaven. You are seated in heavenly authority, operating from that position in your daily life.

This means when you pray, you pray from a position of authority. When you speak, you speak from a position of victory. When you face adversity, you face it from a position of triumph. The seat determines the posture. Seated sons don’t beg — they reign.

Why Is Communion with the Father the Very Essence of Life?

“The Father is life” — not just that He has life or gives life, but that He is the very substance of life. Every living thing exists because it participates in His being. Spiritual death is simply the condition of being separated from that Source.

When you were raised to life in Christ, you were reconnected — more than reconnected, you were united with the Source of all life. Every experience of joy, peace, creative vitality, and spiritual clarity that you have is a direct result of your communion with the Father. You don’t have life apart from Him — you are alive because you are in Him.

How Does the Resurrection Transform Your Identity — Not Just Your Destiny?

The resurrection isn’t only a guarantee of future bodily resurrection — it is a present-tense identity transformation. You are raised with Christ right now. Your old identity — defined by the Fall — is dead and buried. Your new identity — defined by the resurrection — is alive and reigning.

Paul says, “Set your mind on things above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:2-3). Your life is hidden with Christ in God. Not accessible to the devil. Not vulnerable to circumstances. Hidden and secure in the Father.

How Do You Live from Your Resurrected Identity Every Day?

Living from resurrection life begins with a shift in perspective — from “I am trying to overcome” to “I am already raised above.”

    • Declare each day: “I am raised with Christ. I am seated in heavenly places. I operate from victory, not toward it.”
    • When you pray, pray from your position — not from desperation but from sonship authority.
    • Let the resurrection truth renew your identity: you are not who you used to be. The old is gone. The new has come.
    • Walk in the fruit of resurrection life — peace that passes understanding, joy that transcends circumstances, love that flows without effort.
