See Abundance in the Spirit Before You Step Into It

Genesis 13:14 is one of the most overlooked wealth scriptures in the entire Bible. God tells Abraham: “Lift up your eyes… and look from the place where you are.” North. South. East. West.

This wasn’t geography. This wasn’t real estate advice. This wasn’t God giving Abraham a motivational pep talk. Abraham was in the middle of internal conflict — separation from Lot, land disputes, uncertainty about his future. But God wasn’t addressing his circumstances. He was addressing his awareness.

What was God really doing when He told Abraham to lift his eyes?

He was showing Abraham something he would step into later — his inheritance, his destiny, his Kingdom reality that already existed spiritually but had not yet manifested physically. God wasn’t trying to change Abraham’s land. He was trying to change Abraham’s lens.

The moment Abraham lifted his eyes, everything began to shift. Not his situation. Not his circumstances. But his perception. And that changed everything. God was saying: “Stop looking at your life from earth’s angle. Start seeing it from My perspective.”

Why does God reveal before He manifests?

Because this is always how God works. He reveals before He manifests. He upgrades awareness before He upgrades reality. He changes your sight before He changes your season. Manifestation is always preceded by revelation — because you cannot walk into what you cannot yet see.

God doesn’t give you abundance first. He shows it to you first. He doesn’t drop purpose into your lap. He reveals it to your spirit. He doesn’t magically upgrade your life. He upgrades your awareness — and then your life aligns. Abraham stepped into wealth, influence, and legacy after he saw it. The same is true for you.

What does wisdom have to do with seeing abundance?

Solomon said: “Wisdom is the principal thing… and in all your getting, get understanding.” (Proverbs 4:7) Divine wisdom is spiritual awareness — seeing as God sees. And when you see from heaven’s vantage point, manifestation becomes natural.

Wisdom doesn’t give you a better plan. It gives you a better lens. It shifts your frame of reference from earthly limitation to Kingdom reality. And once that shift happens, the abundance that was always spiritually true begins to show up in the physical realm — not because it was created, but because it was finally seen.

How does your vision determine your season?

Your vision sets the ceiling of your experience. What you can see in the spirit is the limit of what you can walk into in the natural. This is why two people with identical circumstances can produce completely different outcomes — one is looking from earth’s perspective, the other is looking from heaven’s. The seasons that open up for you are always downstream of the revelation you are living from.

Abraham’s upgrade began when his vision changed. Everything else followed. Your upgrade begins the same way — not with a better strategy, a new opportunity, or a financial windfall. It begins with lifted eyes.

How do you shift your spiritual lens to see from heaven’s perspective?

You do what Abraham did — you lift your eyes. You intentionally stop looking at your life from the level of your circumstances and start looking at it from the level of your identity in Christ. You let the Spirit reveal what is already true about you, about your purpose, and about the inheritance already secured for you in the New Covenant.

Your inheritance is already real. It already exists in the spiritual realm. The only question is whether your eyes are open to it. And the moment your awareness shifts — the moment you genuinely see what God has already prepared — the stepping in becomes the most natural thing in the world.
